Companies Material Importation

ARTICLE 1: MATERIAL CHARACTERISTICS:

The materials to be imported will comply with the standards and criteria required by Kıb-Tek. They will receive a letter stating the material specifications approved by the Planning-MV/YG and Facility Branch Managers before the order for the specifications of the materials intended to be imported.

 ARTICLE 2: MATERIAL SHIPMENT PERMIT:

After underground and overhead cables, distribution transformers, surge arresters, and wooden poles are produced, they will be ready for shipment (packaged) in the factory, and before shipment, Kıb-Tek elements (2 Persons) will be tested for the material in the form and number of samples specified in the production standard, after the tests to be applied in the factory. In such cases, it will be shipped with written shipping permission given by the Planning and Facility Branch Offices. For other materials, shipment permission will be requested together with the test reports to be made by the manufacturer.

ARTICLE 3: STANDARDS

The material to be produced and other products used in the production of this material (insulator, copper, steel, PVC, bolts, etc.)
a) Compliance with the relevant BS standard and/or equivalent TSE standard, based on the conditions in the BS, will be proven with documents.
b) It is mandatory to have test certificates from CESI, KEMA or TÜV.
Test documents submitted other than these will not be evaluated.

ARTICLE 4: MANUFACTURER

The facilities/factory where the materials to be imported are produced must be located in Turkey, European Union member or EFTA member countries, Canada, USA or Japan. Products produced and branded by international companies established in these countries in a factory in any country are presented with test certificates prepared by reputable independent test laboratories such as KEMA, CESİ, TÜV (covering the production in the factory of the country where the production is made and stating that the criteria specified in the standards are met). may be accepted. By-products used in material production must also meet these conditions. (insulator, copper, steel, PVC, bolt-nut etc.)

ARTICLE 5: PRE-APPROVAL CONDITIONS

“KIB-TEK PRE-APPROVAL CONDITIONS” must be met for the products listed below. The "factory conformity acceptance" of the factory where the products to be imported are produced is made by 2 technical staff appointed by Kıb-Tek before importing, with all expenses and allowances covered by the importer company, and a "found suitable" certificate bearing the signatures of Kıb-Tek Planning and Facility Branch Managers. is taken.
a) Transformers
b) MV cutter, Metering Unit and separators,
c) MV underground cables,
d) Wooden poles.
e) OG additional boxes
f) Overhead line conductors.

ARTICLE 6: PACKAGING TYPE

The materials that need to be packaged will be in package packaging, and the number of pieces and their specifications will be written on the package. For cable drums, braille will be used on sheet metal. If necessary, these materials can be checked by Kıb-Tek in the warehouses of the importer company and/or the purchasing company, if sold, without notification.
Unpackaged or damaged materials will never be imported.

ARTICLE 7: APPLICATION METHOD

The company that will request Preliminary Approval and/or permission to ship the materials in Article 2 must apply to the Authority with the required documents 15 (fifteen) days in advance. All expenses and allowances of the personnel to be assigned by the institution will be covered by the company.

ARTICLE 8: WARRANTY

The materials will be assumed to be guaranteed for one year against all factory defects after they are installed in the system. All costs for correcting errors that occur during the warranty period will be covered by the importer company.

If it is determined that materials that do not comply with the standards are brought into the country, these materials are destroyed by Kıb-Tek and the necessary expenses for this process are covered by the company.

ARTICLE 9: SAMPLE

A reasonable amount of samples will be delivered to Kıb-Tek for each batch of materials outside the scope of Article 5 to be imported. If there is a difference between this sample and the imported material and/or if it is determined that materials that are not approved by Kıb-Tek and/or brought outside its control are brought, the importer company will not be given application and material import permission for a period ranging from 6 months to 2 years, depending on the volume of the work.

ARTICLE 10: INTERIM RULE

If importing companies have ordered materials, they will be exempt from the rules in Articles 2, 4, 5 and 7 for 3 months if they prove this with proforma-invoice or correspondence copies.
