KTEMB Representatives Attend the Premiere of the “From Education to Production” Documentary
NICOSIA – The premiere screening of the documentary “From Education to Production”, produced through a collaboration between the Vocational Technical Education Department of the Ministry of National Education and the Bayrak Radio Television Corporation (BRTK), was held on 8 June 2026 at the Presidential White Hall with broad participation. During the event, the Vocational Education Anthem, specially prepared for vocational and technical schools, was also presented to the public for the first time.
The Cyprus Turkish Electrical Contractors Association (KTEMB) was represented at the event by President Türkay Uzun Sılalı, Treasurer Mertsan Direl, Board Member Barım Erdoğan, and Board Member Özden Gençalp.
The event highlighted the critical role of vocational education in strengthening the country's economy and production capacity. Through the documentary, audiences were introduced to students’ success stories, the dedicated efforts of teachers, and the valuable contributions of vocational schools to society.
KTEMB representatives emphasized that the demand for a qualified workforce in the electrical sector continues to grow and expressed their support for initiatives aimed at strengthening vocational education. The Association reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining close cooperation with educational institutions in order to encourage young people to pursue technical careers and to help train the skilled professionals who will shape the future of the sector.
By bringing together stakeholders from both the education sector and industry, the event contributed to strengthening a shared vision for the future workforce and production capacity of the country, while underlining the importance of vocational education.
