Visit from KTEMB to the Department of Vocational and Technical Education

A delegation led by Türkay Uzun Sılalı, President of the Cyprus Turkish Electrical Contractors Association (KTEMB), paid a visit to Gülşen Hocanın, Director of the Department of Vocational and Technical Education.

KTEMB Board Members Barım Erdoğan, Özden Gençalp, Mertsan Direl, and Administrative Officer Osman Asilzade also attended the meeting.

During the visit, an exchange of views took place regarding the development of a new joint initiative aimed at improving the qualified workforce in the electrical sector. In this context, the discussion focused on providing training under certification programs tailored to the areas of expertise of personnel working in member companies who do not hold TRNC citizenship.

It was emphasized that such training programs and collaborations are of great importance in enhancing professional competence, strengthening occupational safety, and improving quality and standards within the sector.
