The Cyprus Turkish Electrical Contractors Association (KTEMB) held its latest regional meeting in the Nicosia region as part of its ongoing series of regional gatherings. The meeting, which saw strong participation, brought together electrical contractors operating in the capital to discuss the current state of the sector, challenges faced, and possible solutions.
During the meeting, key issues such as inspection processes in electrical installations, gaps in legislation, and uncertainties encountered in practice were highlighted. Members had the opportunity to directly convey the difficulties they experience in the field to the Union’s management, with a strong emphasis placed on solution-oriented discussions.
In a statement made on behalf of the KTEMB Board of Directors, it was emphasized that regional meetings are of great importance for the development of the sector. Direct engagement with members was noted as a significant contribution to both identifying problems and producing sustainable solutions.
The meeting also underscored the importance of preventing unregistered activities, adhering to authorized work limits, and improving professional standards. It was once again stressed that compliance with existing laws and regulations is critical for maintaining the reputation of the sector.
KTEMB stated that it will continue to strengthen its communication with members through regional meetings and remain committed to supporting the sustainable development of the sector.
