First KTEMB Regional Meeting Held in Güzelyurt

The first of the regional meetings organized by the Cyprus Turkish Electrical Contractors Association (KTEMB) was held in Güzelyurt. Members of the Association operating in the Güzelyurt region came together to discuss the current state of the sector, challenges faced by contractors, and possible solutions.

The meeting was organized by the 14th Term Board of Directors of KTEMB under the leadership of President Türkay Uzun Sılalı. Participation from members registered in the Güzelyurt region was almost complete, reflecting the strong interest of the local membership. During the meeting, participants discussed electrical contracting activities in the region, economic developments affecting the sector, and the challenges encountered by members.

The gathering also provided an opportunity for members to directly share their opinions and suggestions with the Association’s leadership. Strengthening solidarity among members and building stronger professional ties within the Association were among the key objectives of the meeting.

KTEMB President Türkay Uzun Sılalı emphasized that the Board of Directors attaches great importance to these regional meetings, noting that such gatherings help further strengthen the spirit of unity and cooperation within the Association. He stated that providing members with the opportunity to meet directly with the Board and exchange ideas is essential for better understanding sectoral issues and developing effective solutions.

Sılalı also announced that the regional meetings will continue in the coming weeks, with the next meetings scheduled to take place in Kyrenia, Famagusta, and Nicosia, respectively, at one-week intervals. He added that through these meetings the Association aims to maintain close communication with its members and work collectively to address the common challenges faced by the sector.
