KTEMB Attended ETMD’s 15th Traditional Night in Istanbul!
The Electrical Installation Engineers Association (ETMD) held its 15th traditional night this year at the Fenerbahçe Faruk Ilgaz Facilities ballroom. KTEMB President Türkay Uzun Sılalı and his delegation attended the night and presented a commemorative plaque to ETMD.
More than 60 corporate members and hundreds of individual members attended this special event organized by ETMD. Representatives of many civil society organizations, association members, and commercial firms attended the event. In his opening speech, ETMD President Cemil Topak provided information about the association's activities, problems in the sector, and projects. Throughout the night, appreciation plaques were presented to sponsors, and the artistic presentation by poet and writer Sonay Akın was highly appreciated.
Commemorative Plaque from KTEMB to ETMD
KTEMB President Türkay Uzun Sılalı presented ETMD President Cemil Topak with a commemorative plaque made of Cypriot wood. President Sılalı referred to the cooperation protocol signed between KTEMB and ETMD in 2016, emphasizing that this protocol was an important milestone in developing a culture of mutual understanding and cooperation in the sector. In his written statement, Sılalı noted:
“This protocol has been an important milestone in developing a culture of mutual understanding and cooperation in the sector. Every step we have taken to strengthen this cooperation over the years has provided significant contributions to both the sector and our colleagues. I especially want to emphasize how valuable our cooperation with ETMD is. The solidarity and knowledge sharing among our colleagues greatly contribute to making our sector more robust and sustainable. We are eager to take this cooperation, initiated by our previous Boards of Directors, further. As KTEMB, our primary goal is to shape these collaborations not only to meet the needs of the day but also with a vision for the future.”

The KTEMB delegation consisted of President Türkay Uzun Sılalı, Vice President Celal Hasan Cin, Treasurer Mertsan Direl, Secretary Tarkan Bulancak, Education Officer Barım Erdoğan, Social Affairs Officer Özden Gençalp, Substitute Member Aral İrtem, and Administrative Officer Osman Asilzade. The delegation attended the night, emphasizing the importance of inter-organizational cooperation and solidarity.
