13th Ordinary General Assembly Meeting of KTEMB Held!
Türkay Uzun Sılalı Elected as President for the New Term!
The 13th Ordinary General Assembly of KTEMB convened on September 7, 2024, at the Taner Akcan Apprenticeship and Adult Education Center. Following the opening, members of the General Assembly Council were elected. Yıltan Palmer was unanimously chosen as the Chair of the Council, with Fadıl Korkut and Mehmet Nasiboğlu as secretaries. A moment of silence was observed for one minute in honor of the members who had passed away.
Afterwards, former President Bora Karaçam addressed the General Assembly. Following this, the activity report and financial report were read and approved. The financial report was presented by the 13th Term Treasurer, Mertsan Direl, and was approved by vote. The elections for the President, Board of Directors, Honorary Board, and Supervisory Board for the 14th Term were held, resulting in the following appointments:
- Union President: Türkay Uzun Sılalı
- Board of Directors Members: Mertsan Direl, Celal Hasan Cin, Barım Erdoğan, Özden Gençalp, Hüseyin Aygün, Tarkan Bulancak, Aral İrtem (Substitute Member), İmam Ataman (Substitute Member)
- Honorary Board Members: Aziz Limasollu, Mehmet Nasiboğlu, Ersoy Olkanlı, Halit Aygün, Bora Karaçam
- Supervisory Board: Yıltan Palmer, Fadıl Korkut
After the new members for the upcoming term were appointed, Türkay Uzun Sılalı, the President of the 14th Term Board of Directors, emphasized in the closing wishes and requests section the importance of working together with all members and the Board of Directors to elevate the Union to a higher level in all areas.
