The electric vehicle charging stations seminar was held with intense participation.

Chamber of Electrical Engineers and K.T. The seminar titled "Electric Vehicle Charging Stations", organized in cooperation with the Electrical Contractors Association, took place on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at the K.T. Chamber of Industry Conference Hall.

The first speech after the opening was made by EMO President Üner Kutalmış, and he emphasized that it is very valuable for two distinguished organizations that have been on the same ship for years and crossed interconnected paths to organize an organization for common purposes.

In his speech, Kutalmış stated that the priority of professional organizations is always to protect the interests of their colleagues and that creating a fair competition environment by bringing quality standards to the sector is the common goal of the two organizations.

He continued his speech by stating that he hopes that the two organizations will always maintain their professional boundaries in their respective fields and continue their work based on respect, tolerance and understanding, and that he hopes that the joint projects laid with the event will continue.

Stating that Electric Vehicles are rapidly spreading in our country in parallel with the development in the world, Kutalmış emphasized that in addition to the work carried out by EMO on the subject, it aims to inform the sector through expert speakers in the event.

K.T. In his speech, Bora Karaçam, President of the Electrical Contractors Association, emphasized the importance of this being the first event jointly organized by two organizations that have a say in the sector, and stated that he hoped that they would walk side by side in the future to solve every problem in the sector and to guide the sector.

Stating that KIBTEK and the Ministry of Economy and Energy have great responsibilities for the inevitable development in the electric vehicle sector, Karaçam pointed out that the installation and permitting of Electric Vehicle Charging stations and the lack of any regulation or framework in our country puts pressure on the founding technician and the designing engineer.

Karaçam stated that he hopes that they will gain important information from the sector representatives thanks to the organized event.

Emphasizing that serious studies and scheduling have been carried out for Electric Vehicles and battery technologies that are thought to support this sector in every field of the transportation sector in the world, Karaçam pointed out that a very serious spread is expected in the future.

At the end of his speech, Karaçam pointed out that this development constitutes a serious responsibility to obtain information and direct the legislation, and thanked all participants.

Minister of Economy and Energy Olgun Amcaoğlu stated in his speech that he attaches great importance to such organizations and that they are in constant contact with relevant professional organizations.

He pointed out that the Energy Efficiency Law, the Energy Department Law and the Energy Supreme Council formation, which are currently being discussed in the parliamentary subcommittees, will be composed of competent, effective and expert staff, and will direct the actions that need to be taken in our country in the future.
